We are an independent music production company, founded in London by Jason Goodchild (aka Fifborn). We produce both upcoming and established artists in England and around the world as well as providing a range of services. 
Our name 'Back2life Records' is synonymous with the idea that our predecessor (Kickin Pulse Music) has come back to life (hence the pulse in the logo). Music is one of  the most expressive traits we know, something which celebrates and signifies our being. For this reason we endeavour to keep our music positive and lyrical content clean.

As far back as he can remember, Fifborn has always been exposed to Music. He has vivid memories of his father playing music from his ‘Gram’ ( The Stereophonic Stereogram). They were his very first memories of music, listening to his father entertaining guests and playing his favorites whilst sipping on his favourite Rum.

In the 80’s His eldest brother joined a newly built sound system (built by the older brother of one of his close friends) In Monks Park, Wembley called ‘Isaiah’. He would go along with them to early all day sound clashes as young boy. His brother and friends would make sure he stayed behind the set (in sight at all times). It was there were without realizing, He was truly soaking up the vibes behind the music. By listening to versions upon versions of the same instrumental and dub-plate specials, He began to appreciate the differences in arrangement that can be applied to music.   This was truly the beginning of his deep understanding and feel for musical arrangement and production and his love and respect for music and its message.

While studying my first Degree at University Fifborn worked as a DJ, part time producer and as a vocalist working with upcoming and established producers, he  decided that it was time to revisit his passion.....music production. His main influences come from producers such as King Jammy, Bobby 'Digital' Dixon, Stingray, Mafia & Fluxy and Mad Professor.  Helping keep reggae music's positive vibration and energy is his main fuel and mission of this label. Although reggae music is the prime focus, music of all genres will also feature on this site.  


 I believe that music is truly an outward expression of life, It can truly trigger life's memories,  it can truly take us back to life!!!
